How ICL Is Lowering Emissions Across Its Fleet with Hydrogen Engine Cleaning

Industrial Chemicals Ltd (ICL) has taken a major step toward building one of the greenest commercial vehicle fleets in the UK by adopting hydrogen-powered engine cleaning technology (Engine Carbon Clean / ECC) across its logistics operation. After successful trials at Millbrook Proving Ground and on a portion of its 90-vehicle fleet, ICL signed a three-year contract to install ECC on its heavy goods vehicles — delivering measurable reductions in emissions and fuel consumption while supporting its broader sustainability goals.
